Description: DWM Inc. was contracted to remove the existing finishes in both the customer restrooms at the front of the store as well as the employee restrooms near receiving. This project was conducted in two phases to ensure that there were adequate facilities for both employees and customers during normal business hours.

Starting in the employee restrooms, we removed all of the existing finishes down to the studs. During the demolition we noticed an active leak that lead to the removal of all of the insulation, replacing of framing and replacing of blocking. Once the rot/water damage was rectified, we moved into cutting the concrete slab and moving existing toilet sanitary lines to their new locations. After our rough inspections we began building back both the men's and women's restrooms simultaneously. After the drywall was installed, received one coat of primer and its first top coat, we moved into floor and wall finishes. The floors received porcelain tile and the wall received a subway pattern FRP. After the wall and floor finishes were installed, we moved to installing new plumbing fixtures, toilet partitions, backlit mirrors, new overhead lighting, countertops and sinks.

When the employee restrooms were completed, we followed the same process for the customer restrooms. The only difference between the two areas is that the customer restrooms received tile walls with accents on the wet (sink) walls.
