General Scope: DWM was contracted to resolve a critical structural issue at a Best Buy location where repeated impacts from tractor trailers backing into the loading bay had caused significant damage to the exterior of the building.
The project scope included:
• Erecting a temporary wall to maintain security.
• Selective demolition of 60 feet of the CMU (concrete masonry unit) exterior wall.
• Reconstruction of the damaged structure.
• Installation of new dock equipment to prevent future damage.
From initial request to project completion, we successfully procured drawings, obtained permits, mobilized, and completed the work in just 5 weeks. The project was delivered on time, ensuring the client met their critical Black Friday operational timeline.
